The Main Lodge serves as the anchor of the ranch, among others - it's connected to the massive dining room, and small meeting space. Built in the 1920s, the log-building was once the central meetinghouse for guests and workers who occupied the guest cabins. Very much like today, the Lodge serves as a gathering place and dining room for daily breakfast.

With a 65" HDTV and satellite service, you can watch any program you like in crisp High-Def. With a library of over 150 DVD titles, you can fire up a movie, or play a board game with the family. Or, engage yourself in conversation with your ranch guests during happy hour.

Grand County, the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, is also famous for being the Headwaters of the Colorado River. This incredibly influential waterway begins its 1,500-mile journey at Lake Granby, just 20 minutes away from Shadow Mountain Guest Ranch.

Grand County is also full of interesting stuff to do. During the winter, ski or snowboard at Winter Park Ski Resort or SolVista, or go snowmobiling in the Fraser Valley, or even try your hand at ice fishing on Grand Lake.

During summer, enjoy the cooler temperatures while fishing along the Colorado River, or hiking in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Or, kick back with a good book and breathe in the fresh, crisp Rocky Mountain air.
